So who here plans on buying Modern Warfare 2 when it's released? The video footage I have seen looks really good.

As you all know =SoE= has the Blue Pearl server that really see's no action (a lot like Saw sex life) so what does everyone think about converting that server to a Modern Warfare 2 server? For those who don't know, getting a CoD server running is much easier than a BF2 server, you only need 2 people to start a CoD server.

i have a PC crap enough to can't handle even CoD5 or on low settings with 8 fps so modern warfare 2 is not my game XD but its a great idea BTW

I can push COD WAW but I don't think it will be able to play MW on my comp

I think that there will be more interested than posted here. DH said he would likely be up for trying it, so I went ahead and pre-ordered the server. It will replace the second bf2 server, in fact.. it will be the same IP address.

i wouldnt mind trying it, be fun to play a new game and stuff. but isnt this call of duty91 and 92 will come on in 6 months lol?

sorry guys but the devs for MW2 just fucked this game over harder than EA has ever done with BF2. There are now NO Dedicated servers for MW2, just console-like match making, and PB support will not be there either, only the STEAM VAC system of Anti-Cheat

Planning on picking up a copy tomorrow. I'm a bit tempted to buy Op Flashpoint tho. Really enjoyed the first game. But it will have to wait.

I will delay my purchase.

To be honest, if the single player works fine and is interesting, I will pick it up. I did enjoy the last one. But Alex here can tell me what he thinks before I shell out good money.

I played a few minutes of Left for Dead 2 the other day, my son downloaded the free demo.

Its amusing, if you like the spray pray and melee type game the graphics are good. The demo is 4 player teams. If you have Steam its easy to DL.

So did I saturday night. Was just setting up a steam account since I got a licence for Colin McRae Dirt2 when it comes out. Just happened to dl L4d2 just after midnight. 2 hours and 500 splattered zombies later I stumbled into bed.

I will give a report, but right now I'm actually more interested in Flashpoint.

also, i pre-ordered a server so it will be up today. But with the lack of dedicated servers, not sure if you will be able to actually select ours or not. If they follow our instructions, it should replace Blue Pearl and have the same IP

Two DVD:s I start with #1
Installing and interacting with steam. Then after a while an error message. Steam servers too busy, try again in a few minutes. I wait five same error.
All boxes dissapear. Is the game installed or what? Havent even inserted dvd #2
